Well it's not that different for me. Physical attraction is what makes me approach them, but emotional connection is what creates true attraction. I will never be interested in someone who I like physically but with whom I can't connect emotionally. Perhaps the difference between you and is that I feel this emotional connection very early on, while it takes a lot longer for you to feel it?

It's not a set formula or anything bit most people I've dated have been people I knew for a long time before I agreed to date them. Sometimes one conversation turns everything around and I suddenly think "wow". Last person I dated, I thought he was ok for about a year of knowing him. Then one day I was sick and he took care of me and talked to me about his sister's death and what he wanted to do when he retired. Something happened that night and I started to fall in love. After that I wanted to rip his clothes off I guess maybe it takes a while at times for people to show who they are. With me there's also an element of people needing to show through persistence that they're serious.

Like, knowing someone for a long time, and then, boom. Is this more common among FAs? It would make sense since you need to build up quite a lot of trust and security in someone before possibly engaging? Nice story, though...maybe I should look for sick women who need care, haha.

No idea! I think I am just attracted to people's deep characteristics and I think they sometimes take a while to really show.

Haha. Please cut that out. It's raining in London. I sympathize. I think I'll be back around freezing point this Thursday, as Holland's not much better

Far south of UK for me - beautiful day today - looks like summer has come (well perhaps not quite!)

I sympathize. I think I'll be back around freezing point this Thursday, as Holland's not much better I grew up in Holland! It's a small world. We should all organize a forum meet up and hold a competition where we all try to trigger eachother's attachment systems. Last person standing wins a prize!

Haha! And you're saying this because you seem to be the most secure of us! You just want your prize I'll be in the NL in 2 weeks, let's all meet!
