Can secure people comment on approximately how long you take to get to know someone you’re dating, before you feel like you know them well enough to commit to them? (As an AP I have typically jumped in fast, which hasn’t worked out so well! Shocking I know 😉)

Hmmm maybe 3 months are enough to start an exclusive relationship 😊

Yes! Let me expand: for me, 2-3 month mark is best, as:
-I can see if a Guy is pressuring me for a relationship early on (big redflag for me)
-I can actually get to know someone a bit in order for me to see if I like this person enough to give exclusivity and time to the relationship 😁
I'm talking as a 28 year old who used to have Tinder dates or meet people in casual settings. If I started dating a friend I had known well for years, I'll probably start dating him right away.
I think dating is still a period in which you see if someone is compatible enough with me to start a shared life. So I take my time at first and I know that if it doesn't work out, it's not the end of the world. Mom used to tell me that I'll know who the 'man of my life' is at the end of it. I think is true 😊 love is a path. It takes time.
The only relationship I rushed (well, he rushed everything and I ended comforming to it even if I felt a bit uneasy) ended being the worst of my life. Soo I learned to follow my gut ☺️
