serenity mrob jules. Thank you guys for all your inspiration I took myself to my first AA meeting tonight. I was terrified i wont lie, but listened to some inspiring people and met some really lovely souls. One kind lady gave me her phone number and told me and can call her anytime night or day which is really lovely. I feel getting sober is the beginning of my healing and will help me so much to deal with all the other stuff I have going on. I am going to try and go to as many meetings as possible and find a sponsor who will take me thru the steps. Its early days but I have taken the first step and feel relieved to have forced myself to go. X

Way to go!!! I have some friends in AA and it's helped them immensely. You're taking a great first step for yourself.

This is the greatest news I have awoken to in a good long while! A tear has escaped me. I am so excited for you. One day at a time. Life became easier when I stopped dwelling in the past and stopped fretting about the future. Just stay in today. And use those numbers people give you. It's hard, but they have all been there. They want to help! Not much feels better than helping someone else! Soon enough it will be you helping someone nee. Hard to believe, but its absolutely the truth.
Take gentle care of yourself, the beginning is rough but you can do this. Infact. You can do anything!!
Yayyyy. So happy for you!
