Honestly. It sounds like he may have a personality disorder on top of being avoidant. He didn't learn anything except how to blame something and warp and weaponize it for his own bitterness and narcissism. I'm glad you blocked him. Whether or not he gets karma soon, he will likely always be unhappy, so just live your life focusing on you. One day you will eventually appreciate that you stood up for yourself by ending this, and dodged a bullet.
