Does anyone else experience a really upset stomach when relating to avoidantly attached love interests?

I'm not fully AP, I've learned I'm more FA with a heavy dose of AP, but when I am feeling AP I sometimes get nervous stomach, nausea or diarrhea. It's not dependent on the attachment style of the other person (although people high in avoidance do often make me feel more anxious), it is dependent on how I feel. Digestive system problems are one of the most common symptoms of anxiety.

Hi Bloom,
Welcome to the boards.
I'm more AP so yes, I definitely experience a nervous stomach which feels like fluttering and my throat feels tight. I get this way whenever my ex who is FA and I argue or I get curt communication from him or he doesn't want to hang out- basically when I'm triggered. I can't eat either so i just drink water and wait it out. I also get muscle tension in my neck as well.

As said above, upset stomach can commonly be a general anxiety symptom.
Mine doesn't get upset but it feels very uncomfortable because the anxiety is welling up there if my AP tendencies are triggered. I get the same feeling from stage fright. Once the triggering passes, if I'm still upset, I'll lose my appetite / hunger/ thirst cues, sometimes for days and then I have to remind myself to eat.

I tend not to notice "physical" symptoms...but am very tied into emotional cues. The more a person stirs up my abandonment triggers, the greater my emotional cues become. However, I also have strong walled reactions to men I feel want something from me that I cannot give them.
