Afternoon all! So my FA girlfriend suffers from anxiety, and when she flies, she gets sick to her stomach before the flight. I cant be with her when she flies, but she texts me as she is waiting in the airport and to take off. She doesn't freak out in public, but inside she in turmoil. What are some things I can say to her to calm her down. I obviously tell her I love her, I'm there for her until phones go off and I'll be there when phones come on, but I need some stuff that may ease her more. Telling her to breathe and such gets her upset as she says it doesnt work. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm terrified of flying too, if she texts you before flying then you make her feel safe. I don't think you can cure someone's phobia by saying the right words though!

I don't think there are any right words! If she just wants to hear your voice then just tell her it will be fine and it's the safest form of travel. Whoever I call before I fly is who I love the most, so this is a good sign.
