It might be more healing to have a joke about our own dysfunctional relating patterns than our ex partners... and DA/FA are just the other side of the coin to the AP. We all suffered emotionally as children, and had to twist ourselves into a less than healthy shape to emotionally survive the trauma we endured. There's drawbacks to both types, let's be honest. Even if DAs seem to "get off lightly" in the eyes of an AP, they actually don't. It can't be easy living in a world where people spout so much about connection and especially the idealised version of love, when you might struggle to form those things in a healthy way.

How to get to a DAs heart? Straight through the rib cage...with a sharp knife wow. lucy 's reference to stabbing a person with a sharp knife through the ribs to the heart is disturbing, not humorous, by most standards for civil discourse. i am very surprised that it is tolerated. as a DA i am not hurt by it, as i find it to be a reflection of lucy, not a dismissively attached individual. it's her own face she is revealing, no one else's. but it is inappropriate nonetheless.
