Many of us here spend a lot of time fretting about and missing our ex DA...or our...I have no idea what we are...he keeps hanging out and sleeping with me...but said he doesnt want to be in a relationship... bla bla bollocks person. Confusing stuff. And its bloody exhausting! So lets take a step back and have a good laugh. Please just let go, be rude, be sarcastic , share jokes about ex-partners. This is not about being political correct. This doesnt mean we dont love them or try to be understanding. Sometimes it just helps to have a laugh about the shitty crap we are going through. Anything to make you smile!
Ever looked at your ex and wondered “Was I drunk the entire relationship?”
Don’t cry because its over, smile because his new girlfriend looks like a horse.
My ex boyfriend’s Facebook status said “Suicidal and standing on the edge”…So I poked him.
If someone makes you cry, cry a river, make a bridge and push them off it
I'd like to help you out. Which way did you come in?
Some day you will find yourself. And wish you hadnt
Good luck finding someone, who will put up with your bullshit as well as I did.
Or personally one of the funnies moments with my DA (funny, if it hadnt been so hurtfull) was when we had just been making out after a break up and he said 'that was really nice, but I dont want to be in a relationship' and I said 'now let me get this right...you want me to keep coming over and be loving and supportive and cuddle and have sex...yet, you dont want me to be your girlfriend. But when I feel insulted and call it friends with benefits or fuck buddies...you say this is not what this is. This makes no sence!' Would have loved to take a photo of his face at that moment. Ha

Me: "remember when we first started going out with each other and I asked what is wrong with you for having been single and you said i'll need to wait and see. Bloody hell. You could have really warned me!"
One ex cheated on me several times. I repeatedly asked him to apologise. Best I ever got was "maybe I had been a bit of an asshole" (Maybe? A bit? What a twat)
After one time when he had kissed another woman and I broke down crying he said "I didnt think you'd be so upset about it" (Yeah, your partner kissing someone else is a great feeling . Sure)
After two-timing me with another woman for 2weeks "I thought you'd be doing the same with your male friends" (Well no, I do not snog my mates and fumble their private parts)
(You know you are getting better , when you can start laughing about some of those rediculous crappy comments)

lucy considering the trauma some of the avoidants experienced, i don't think violent jokes are appropriate or funny

Meh, I think some of these are pretty funny, actually. And usually, people who have been through the heavy shit in life are the first to laugh about it, in my experience.
That said, I got all the happiness I needed back when the dysfunctional patterns in my previous relationship stopped, but I get the need for putting things in perspective and taking the sharp edges off with humour.
I got an "I thought you'd be ok with it" after she cheated on me with her coworker the night before my mother's 65th birthday dinner at a restaurant. For some reason, that wasn't my most enjoyable dinner ever.

This is just fucking ridiculous....and they say DAs are the ones without feelings or a heart??? I beg to differ!!!! Go ahead APs, way to show how much "heart" you really have.

Ha. Thanks Mary. I am actually a very nice person and you are missing the point of the thread. Its to have a laugh! And we all have different sence of humour. The forum is always so heavy. A lot of serious talking going on here. So at times its nice to stop trying to be understanding and just smile and laugh.
And its certainly not about sharing hate. And its not about insulting people, as you have just so nicely done. I did try to explain myself with the induction. And now please leave and comment somewhere else!

I can comment wherever I want and you deserved the insult.

Lucy, you're obviously really angry at your ex, and that's cool, but I don't think this is the best way to go about it.

No one is a complete person, and if you're an AP coming out of the anxious/avoidant tango it's probably healthy for you to recognize your ex's flaws and kick them off that pedestal you put them on. However it's not healthy for you, or conducive to your own path towards being secure, if you feel the need to be mean and insulting. There;s more constructive outlets for your anger. When i think about my most recent ex, who was extremely avoidant in the tail end of our tryst, i think of her as a human being that i loved, and regardless of how she feels about me that's the way I would like to treat her. That being said, heres a DA/FA joke for you lucy: Konck knock....

Well I think Lucy is somewhat funny (in a good way). The bit about being "drunk" the whole relationship...classic.
